Hi there! 

I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at Nova School of Business and Economics and an Affiliate to Novafrica Knowledge Center.

My research lies at the intersection of Economics of Education, Development and Public Economics, with the use of experimental and quasi-experimental methods of policy evaluation.

During my PhD studies, I was a Visiting Fellow at the University College London in the Spring of 2025, and have been a Research Consultant for projects at the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. 

Before the PhD programme, I worked as a Policy Trainee at the European Commission's DG-Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion and as an Economic Analyst at the Tendências Consultoria in São Paulo.
